Generali Philippines recently joined nearly 900 MDRT Qualifiers at the grand Generali Asia MDRT Convention held at the beautiful Rosewood Hotel in Sanya, Hainan Province, China. This event celebrated the hard work and dedication of our agents, who are among the best in the life insurance and financial services industry.
The Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is a special group of the world’s top life insurance and financial services professionals. With members from over 700 companies in 80 countries, MDRT is recognized worldwide as the gold standard of excellence in the industry.
This year’s convention, themed “Shining Stars”, was a dazzling celebration of achievement. Important figures such as Rakesh Wadhwa, Chief Distribution and Marketing Officer – Asia, Stephen Fuller, Regional Chief Agency Officer, South East Asia & India, and Rob Leonardi, Generali Asia Regional Officer, who delivered an inspiring video message, attended the event. The keynote speaker, Marcus Sheridan, captivated the audience with his talk on the “7 Habits of Extraordinary Generali Leaders and Agents”, emphasizing what makes a true leader. One of the standout messages from Marcus was, “This room represents the Best of the Best.”
The main goal of the event was to honor the outstanding MDRT Qualifiers for their exceptional performance in 2023. Generali Philippines proudly sent a strong team, with 13 Qualifiers, 20 agents, and 10 staff members, including Dr. Hak Hong Soo, President and CEO, Grace Gelle, Chief Sales Officer, Joyce Anne Bird, Head of Agency, Mervin Medrano, Sales Development Head, Noel Castillo, Senior Assistant Vice President – Agency Sales Distribution, and 6 BRMs. The Generali Philippines team truly shone, demonstrating their professional knowledge, ethical conduct, and excellent client service – qualities that make them stand out.
The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and pride. One memorable quote from the event was, “The attendees represent the best of the best,” highlighting the elite status of our agents. As the event wrapped up, each country announced their ambitious MDRT Targets for the upcoming year, setting the stage for even greater achievements. Adding to the excitement, it was announced that the next MDRT Asia Convention will be held in the beautiful city of Danang, Vietnam.
