66 In line with the Generali tradition of exhibiting banners and tapestries on the Procuratie façades to mark the most important events, an installation, representing the faces of The Human Safety Net programmes beneficiaries in 100 sustainable fabric banners, has been hung for the opening ceremony. Moreover, the ceremony opened with the traditional salute of the alzaremi by a flotilla of boats from the Generali nautical circle in the waters in front of St. Mark’s Square. The tribute consists of placing the oars vertically and raising them to specific commands. The Foundation venues, on the third floor, feature different spaces: The Hall is a new stateof-the-art auditorium to host international symposiums, congresses and events that have sustainability objectives at their core; The Hub is a co-working space where The Human Safety Net’s teams, their NGO partners, programme beneficiaries and volunteers can all meet up and collaborate with a common purpose; The Cafe is a coffee shop which is also open to the public. Furthermore, the exhibition “A World of Potential”, offers visitors a personalised experience of The Human Safety Net, its purpose, and its work, and helps visitors connect with their personal potential. More than 4,000 employees and agents from all over the world joined a special digital live event tour to discover the new Home of the Human Safety Net through the voices of the people attending the opening. Many of them sent books with personal messages to enrich The Human Safety Net’s library. In linea con la tradizione di Generali di esporre stendardi e arazzi sulla facciata delle Procuratie per marcare gli eventi più importanti, per l’inaugurazione sono stati appesi 100 stendardi in materiale sostenibile, raffiguranti i volti di altrettanti beneficiari dei programmi di The Human Safety Net. La cerimonia di apertura ha inoltre visto lo svolgersi del tradizionale alzaremi, saluto marinaro che consiste nel sollevare i remi a comandi specifici, in questa occasione da parte di vogatori su barche della Remiera Generali in Bacino San Marco. Gli spazi della Fondazione, al terzo piano, ospitano diversi ambienti: The Hall e il nuovo auditorium all’avanguardia per ospitare simposi internazionali, congressi ed eventi che hanno come missione obiettivi di sostenibilita; The Hub e lo spazio di co-working in cui i team di The Human Safety Net, le ONG partner, i beneficiari dei programmi e i volontari possono incontrarsi e collaborare con uno scopo comune; The Cafe, la caffeteria aperta anche al pubblico. Inoltre, l’esposizione “A World of Potential” offre ai visitatori un’esperienza personalizzata di The Human Safety Net, del suo scopo, del suo lavoro e aiuta i visitatori a connettersi con il proprio potenziale personale. Più di 4.000 tra dipendenti e agenti da tutto il mondo si sono collegati per assistere all’evento in modalità digitale, per uno speciale tour per scoprire la nuova casa di The Human Safety Net dalla voce di chi partecipava all’inaugurazione.
