On Friday, 8th April 2022, after the extensive recovery work carried out by David Chipperfield Architects Milan, the Procuratie Vecchie, the building in St. Mark’s Square, have come to host once again the activities of Generali. Open to the public for the first time in over 500 years the building is the new home of The Human Safety Net, Generali’s Foundation that aims to unleash the potential of people living in vulnerable circumstances so that they can improve the living conditions of their families and communities. The renovation of the Procuratie Vecchie is part of a broader restoration of the entire Marciana area - including the Royal Gardens and the Green House - which Generali has supported with pride and passion. L’8 aprile 2022, dopo un complesso lavoro di recupero durato 5 anni, ad opera dello studio David Chipperfield Architects Milan, il palazzo delle Procuratie Vecchie, in Piazza San Marco a Venezia, torna a ospitare le attività di Generali. Aperto al pubblico per la prima volta dopo oltre 500 anni di storia, il palazzo è la nuova casa di The Human Safety Net, fondazione di Generali, che ha l’obiettivo di liberare il potenziale delle persone che vivono in condizioni di vulnerabilità, affinché possano migliorare le condizioni di vita delle proprie famiglie e comunità.
