Games of light shaping a shared and sustainable vision of the future, and the winged Lion standing out against Trieste’s sky: on Wednesday 6th October from 6.30pm until midnight, on occasion of Barcolana and to mark Generali’s 190th anniversary, the historical headquarters of Palazzo Berlam lit up with projections of images and words giving shape to the Group’s commitment towards the environment, inclusion, and gender equality, starting from the city where the Company was founded in December 1831. The project has been repeated on 7th and 8th October at the same times and ended on the evening of 9th October, when the lights went out at 2am. The lighting was also meant to convey a positive message in a complex moment for the community, hit by the pandemic, but looking to the future and joining forces to restart, together. Il progetto è stato ripetuto il 7 e l’8 ottobre con gli stessi orari, per concludersi la sera del 9 ottobre, quando le luci si sono spente alle 2. L’illuminazione ha voluto anche essere un messaggio positivo in un momento complesso per la comunità che, pur colpita dalla pandemia, guarda al futuro unendo le forze per ripartire, insieme. 43
