Fenice190: a plan for recovery Fenice190: un piano per la ripresa To mark the 190th anniversary and leave a tangible and lasting recognition of the bond between the Company and the regions where it was born and has prospered, Generali announced Fenice 190, a € 3.5 billion investment plan to support the recovery of the European economies impacted by Covid-19, starting in Italy, France and Germany, and later expanding to all European countries in which Generali operates throughout the five years of the plan. Fenice 190 has made the extraordinary initiatives launched in 2020 to tackle the effects of the pandemic permanent, which included investments in support of SMEs and the real economy already surpassing the established objective of € 1 billion. To add to this initial amount, Generali is pledging an annual commitment of € 500 million per year, over the next 5 years, for sustainable growth through international investment funds focusing on infrastructure, innovation and digitalization, SMEs, green housing, health care facilities and education. In occasione dell’anniversario dei 190 anni dalla sua fondazione, per lasciare un segno tangibile e duraturo del legame tra la Compagnia e i territori in cui e nata e cresciuta, Generali ha presentato Fenice 190, un piano di investimenti da 3,5 miliardi di euro per sostenere il rilancio delle economie europee colpite dal Covid-19, a cominciare da Italia, Francia e Germania e proseguendo durante i cinque anni del piano in tutti i Paesi europei dove il Gruppo e presente. Con Fenice 190, sono diventati permanenti le iniziative straordinarie avviate nel 2020 per affrontare la crisi, che hanno visto investimenti a supporto delle PMI e dell’economia reale e che hanno superato l’obiettivo del miliardo di euro.
